We met at the school reunion a year ago. And now, Julie has invited me to see her cottage in the forest. One glance at the structure, and I exclaimed
“Hey! You continue to be a Sly Stallone fan?”
“Sly Stallone? What does he have to do with this cottage I designed and got built?”
“Sly was devastatingly handsome in his heydays, but if you look closely, each of his facial features is a little crooked. I don’t know why seeing this structure reminded me of him.”
“Hmmm… actually, the grass has grown taller on one side. I need to trim that.”
“And what about the window frame?”
“A little asymmetry creates interest. Like our friendship, like the people who will flaunt this picture, like …… Well, let it go.”

A little asymmetry creates interest, is a loaded statement. Does this mean, equals cannot be friends? Nice angle.

Reena, I am taken back at how creative the stories have been, yours included. I love the line ‘A little asymmetry creates interest’. Life would be bland if everything was perfect and all the same. Well done,

A nice moral – an intwrwsting face is preferable to a beautiful but bland one. Good work Reena.
