Dignified

Spider silk clung at the doors, over the windows, and over everything she had left behind.

It felt almost as if the haze was intended. She did not want others to peek into her core. The world thought they knew her well. Her life was spent in constant glare of the paparazzi, and was an unrelenting subject of media attention. Every little detail of her appearance and movement was written about.

But, nobody could capture the turmoil inside. Her quiet exit had left many questions unanswered. She had upheld dignity over everything else, and her death was testimony to that.
