I sweat profusely in
humidity of regrets
hoping my dry soul
escapes divine attention
whispering voices
from the wilderness
over-power
a screaming conscience
I am surprised
to see a fraternity
joining my loneliness
bereft of humanity
Semi-monstrous humans
or semi-human monsters
swamp the world
as I run for cover

This is very intriguing, Reena.

Oh, I love this! So many delicious layers. I love “swamping the world.” Good, good, writing.
