Honour Killing
Women carry tradition more fiercely than men,
They cling to it like anything, to please men or their clan, whatever.
Make it a purpose of their life to carry it over the generation to generation.
Well, it’s my opinion. Though things are changing, some villages still carry on with old traditions, at any cost.
After her husband died, she had raised her son with so much difficulty and he paid for her love like this, by marrying a girl from other religion?
Had her son told her beforehand that he was going to marry a girl from other religion, she could have been able to deter him, knowing how strict their clan was. There already were some cases of honor killing.
But, no, he had to come with her after marrying her in some other place.
