She looked out of the window with empty eyes, and wished she did not have to be here. They were family, but talked of inane things she had no interest in, day and day out.
The terrifying fact was that the incessant twaddle was draining her. The sameness of the mind-sets and the shallowness of the proverbial wells in which these frogs kept jumping scared her.
Was she approaching insanity, or the frogs?

Most folks thought my family was pretty normal but most of them were rather eccentric…I’m not, of course .:) Life from the outside seemed boring but living in the middle of it was anything but. I would have liked occasional inane twaddle. Thanks for sharing your lines.
