The search remained on for a missing piece. Compelling circumstances made him realize that the vital piece had left long ago. When it went, it took the piece of him that knew what he wanted, and left behind a feeling that he was dependent. He kept asking for justice, but never received it.
He had to get out and make the first move. The streets were still covered with snow, but the first florets of spring were blossoming within him. It was the beginning of a new life.

I just recently became one of the baristas for this site. I find it delightful and thought you may find it enjoyable, as well. I was shocked when they sent me an invitation to write for them. There are many outstanding poets that contribute to this site.
