It was not exactly a dislike, but she had never appreciated her husband’s obsession with collecting vases. Feroze would buy fakes, if he couldn’t get hold of original antiques. He loved the touch and feel of objects he could own.
She was a poet with surrealistic preferences. He thought she was always lost in her own world, and was less connected to the surroundings that nurtured her.
And that is how they had complemented each other all their life – one taking care of the nitty-gritties, another enriching it with creativity. One couldn’t imagine life without another to complete their existence.
