I’ve enjoyed reading your contributions to tale weavers — they are thought provoking, entertaining, and evocative.
The quote is so true to the world we live in now — just as it was when Mencken was writing in the 30s and 40s.
Structure, now, seems to go beyond the government’s imposition of rules of order. The thought police prowl, and dissent is both encouraged and forbidden.
