Predators

The wilderness is less wild

than civilization

it does not scare me.

Animal hunger is peremptory

yet satiable

and then they return

to the lair.

 

The two-legged hunters

plot incessantly

for what they see

as long-term gains,

insatiable

unforgiving

and inhuman.

 

The world panics

if a predator with a tail

invades their world

and yet continue

to violate

space and rights

of all living beings.

 

Power

induces a sense of

entitlement

and right to disrespect

those above it

learn to Be

human and free.
