What if Graham Bell had never discovered the telephone? Worse still, what would have happened, if the internet had not connected the world?
You and I would never have known of each other’s existence and thought processes. Our thoughts, talent, struggles of life, tidbits of the daily grind would all have remained confined to a small circle around us. Local would never have changed to ‘glocal’.
- The idiosyncrasies of Donald Trump would not have been the subject of world-wide discussions.
- Malala Yousufzai would not have been the icon that she is today.
- We could not have drawn solace from the fact, that this fate can befall many people in the world.
- Or that there is a better way of living, and one can strive to achieve that.
- The global villages called Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter would never have existed.
- There would have been no trolls, no twitterati, no netizens.
- com and Ashley Madison would not have dangled temptations, and destroyed thousands of lives, in the manner that it happened.
However, I guess Wells Fargo would still have found a way to open fake accounts, and never get caught.
Digitalization would have been a subject of sci-fi, in the revered tomes in libraries.
But there were brains that made it all possible, and we have lived through interesting times. I hope, writers can create images of a positive world. Let the future generations just focus on converting negativity into positivity, and innovations will continue — for the larger good of humanity.

I do hope we can figure out how to turn the creativity into good. Glad we had this chance to meet each other in the blogosphere.
