The Divorce

“Your mother called today. She is not keeping well, and feels rather lonely in that huge mansion.”

“I might visit her on the weekend. We are here to discuss something different.”

“Exactly. She was advising us against the divorce.”

“And do you think I would get carried away with that? The children prefer to see us separated, rather than bickering all the time.”

“She wants to meet me, too. Er….. Can we go together?”

Jamie was distracted by the old couple lovingly eating together, on her left. Is this what Mom wanted to convey? Maybe, it was not too late.
